EarSketch Live (2015), Live coding Performance

Materials

Duration: about 20 minutes

About

EarSketch Live is a live coding performance with the EarSketch computational music platform. During the performance, a laptop musician writes code to algorithmically generate the music heard in performance, transforming pre-recorded audio samples to create a complex polyrhythmic texture. The audience sees a projection of the performer’s laptop screen, watching the code and a visual multi-track representation of the music as it is created live in performance.
